No, this is NOT Cele's I.D. lol!!! :DI decided to get a bit "creative" or what have you regarding the I.D. foto. Like it? Haha. I really didn't know I could pull something off like that! :)
Well, so Cele and I talked again about the I.D. I think he knows by now that I mean business. I mean what person wouldn't?
He knows that I'm not going to be putting this issue under the alfombra lol. I am not going to post word for word here what our discussion was, but I'll sum it up for you:
Me: So why can't you call that guy today and get the number today and call your friend today about the I.D.?
Him: Actually I already called that guy but he is not answering. I am going to try later on again. Remember I already told you that it would be 8 to 15 days.
Me: Umm actually Cele you told me that on Monday, July 7th. So that makes it...(me counting) so you have 12 days left.
Him: 12 days left until what? And then no more between you and me?
Thinking of whether I tell him that or just tell him we won't see each other until I hear he's got the I.D. in his hands . . . I decide not to be TOO mean lol.
Me: Now I didn't say it'd be over. We just won't see each other until you can show me the I.D.
Him: Wow.
Thinking MAYBE just MAYBE he is NOW getting the point. Learning that this gringa or guera means business.
Him: You really are in a hurry. Why?
Me: Because I am. It is important to me and you've had enough time already. You've had almost 6 months. That's A LOT of time. And 12 days is a lot of time too. Come on, Cele.
Him: *I hear him count the days*
Me: And don't be sad and don't cry, okay?
Him: No, I'm not. I'm fine.
So there was more to the I.D. discussion but nothing major that needs to be blogged about. I have to go take some tests for NRT Insurance which I PRAY I PASS!!!! Fingers crossed tightly everyone! (thanks!) :D
I'm counting down the days until this whole I.D. mess is over with. I told him flat out today that I think the reason why this I.D. thing has been a big deal is because of his age.
He told me "Well, you will see."
I also told him I know it has something to do with that because he doesn't come right out and say something like "No Megan, it's not my age." He just sits there in silence or says something but not directly related to my question.
Like above? "I will see". Hmm? See what exactly? That he is older than he says he is. I've told him a few times already that "Amor verdadero no tiene edad" ("True love has no age") and he goes "You know what? You are right."
I'm nervous guys about how old he really is! I also told him that IF he DOES NOT get his I.D. before the 12 days are up then it is going to be obvious to me that this relationship doesn't mean anything to him. That is when he got all quiet and started counting the days, I think that this relationship does mean something to him, I just think he is scared shytless with whatever he is hiding.
Like I always say, time will tell.

This is starting to seem like a suspense novel or at least a TELENOVELA. It has been my experience with MNM that if you call them on their bluff (in this case, him trying to "barrerlo abajo de la alfombra-lol) and that you are NOT backing down, which I think by now he sees that you are NOT, you will eventually get somewhere. Giving him a deadline and telling him that you won't see him until he has the I.D. en la mano is a good idea. Too bad it has to be this way and he can't just come clean. He must really be "sudando ahora."
